In-Flight :

4 hours of DUAL in the right seat;

1 hour flight test.

Pre-Flight:

12 hours of ground instruction, including :

Technical instruction on the Cessna 310;

Instruction on Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT);

Instruction on survival practices;

Instruction on safety, aircraft handling on the ground includes refuelling;

Instruction on the use and understanding of Grondair’s Company Operations Manuel;

The use of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) with regards to two crew operations;

Information on aircraft icing, on the ground and in-flight, including the use of de-icing fluid;

Use of navigational aids such as the handheld GPS.
